BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Walczyszyn’s completed his Fellowship, Residency, Intern Medicine training, and Sub-Internship Internal Medicine, at Lennox Hill Hospital-Northwell Hospital in, and another sub-internship in Internal Medicine in Wayne State University-Detroit, Michigan. He was the recipient of the Teaching Associate Award: given for excellence in the education of students and resident at the Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine and Lennox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Walczyszyn received his M.D. from Poznan’ University of Medical Sciences, in Poznan’, Poland, and his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, from Salve Regina University Honors program.

Dr. Walczyszyn’s publications include: Hyperprolactinemia: An Unfamiliar Acquired Cause of Pulmonary Embolism, Incidence of Thrombocytopenia in Orthopedic Surgery Patients, and The transfusion Safety Officer: An Effective Tool in Patient Blood Management, A Rare Cause of Jaundice and Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia: Don’t Forget EBV.

Dr. Walczyszyn’s academic activity included Systematic Therapy for Malignant Melanoma According to Stage Disease, American College of Physicians Board Prep: Hematology Lecture, and Pulmonary Manifestations of Sickle Cell Disease.

Dr. Walczyszyn is currently a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American College of Physicians. He has increased awareness of drug addiction treatment, with Physician Alcohol and Abuse Training Program (PAAT). Dr. Walczyszyn is also fluent in Polish.
