BIOGRAPHY
Christi Kim, MD is a board certified physician in internal medicine and medical oncology.
She received her Medical Degree from St. George’s University and went onto to complete her Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency as well as Fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the State University of New York Stony Brook University Hospital.
Dr. Kim is currently a faculty appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York Stony Brook Hospital. She was an invited speaker for the New York Colorectal Cancer Survivorship and Support Group. Additionally, she was appointed as a clinical practice committee member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO). Dr. Kim is also an active member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG), where she serves as the primary investigator for GOG sponsored clinical trials. Dr. Kim served as an advisory board in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma. Also, she helps serve as an adviser to the genetic testing advisory board.
Dr. Kim has published articles in hematology and oncology peer-reviewed medical journals and is a National Cancer Institute investigator.
Her special interests are women's cancer care, clinical research and collaboration with others that can impact the best possible treatment care and outcome.
