BIOGRAPHY
Triantafillos Fillos, MD, MS is a key part of our comprehensive cancer treatment program. Dr. Fillos joined the expansive network of medical professionals of New York Cancer & Blood Specialists in August 2016 and is dedicated to providing world-class cancer care to our five Queens County locations.
Dr. Fillos completed his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Boston, Massachusetts from Boston College and Northeastern University, respectively, before completing his Doctorate at St. George's University School of Medicine. During this period, he spent extensive time participating in research which focused on Oncological screening and treatment options. Dr. Fillos returned to Long Island, NY where he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in Medicine at the Stony Brook University Hospital Department of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow for the Division of Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Fillos has spent the last 10 years caring for Hematology and Oncology patients in Manhasset, Jackson Heights, and Bayside in Queens County, NY. Dr. Fillos joined our network so he can continue to provide quality care to his patients with the latest in state-of-the-art technology available within the offices of New York Cancer & Blood Specialists.
