Erin is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has experience working in both the fields of Addiction and Mental Health Counseling. Erin earned her Master’s degree at Stony Brook University with a specialization in Integrative Health. During her professional training, Erin facilitated groups, developed personalized treatment plans and provided individual psychotherapy serving as both a guide and collaborator. Given her passion for health and wellness, Erin focuses on conducting thorough needs assessments and operates from a holistic standpoint, taking into account all influential factors of a person’s life. As an oncology social worker, Erin assists patients to overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and other hardships along the cancer continuum. Erin strives to alleviate suffering by helping individuals tap into inner resources and discover their resilience within. With each encounter, Erin offers a compassionate ear in hopes for her clientele to feel heard and understood. Erin works with adults of all ages and continues to build upon her repertoire of community resources in order to best serve her patients’ social, emotional and spiritual needs. Navigating challenges of cancer care can be difficult and overwhelming; Erin reminds her patients that they are not alone.
