Supportive & Palliative Care

MaryAnn Fragola, DNP, ANPc, ACHPN is a board-certified oncology nurse practitioner. She has been a part of this practice for the past 20 years providing direct patient care to patients and families. She currently serves as Chief of Wellness Services.

She is a graduate of Wilkes University where she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. Dr. Fragola earned her MSN degree Adult Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Stony Brook University. Dr. Fragola has experience in hematology, oncology, hospice care, and medical-surgical care in-home, outpatient, and in-hospital settings.

More recently, she obtained her National board certification in advanced hospice and palliative care, as well as, completed an advanced training certificate in palliative care. Dr. Fragola has been actively involved in the implementation of our current palliative care program. She is a certified medical marijuana prescriber. She serves as an Adjunct Professor and continues to teach students online, as well as, precept/mentor nurse practitioner students and new hires within the practice.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Fragola’s services include, but are not limited to assessing phone and walk-in triage, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting labs and tests, and prescribing treatments and medications. She is also a sub-investigator in multiple clinical research trials requiring close patient assessment, ongoing monitoring, and detailed documentation.

Dr. Fragola is affiliated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Oncology Nurse Society.
